Weird, remember the post I had sometime back about how my oil pressure switch was not working. Well, I washed my bike the other day and amazing, it works again. Guess there was some corrosion on the switches connections. Figures.

I have the opposite happen with me.
If I wash it, something goes wrong.

I had an intermittent oil light. Freaked me out the first time. I thought I had knocked the connection to the oil pressure sender loose during an oil change.

It ended up being a lose battery connection.

My bike runs better when clean. Less drag. ;)

Ditto. Add me to that list.

I think my bike resents me wasting valuable riding time and she's quick to make her point clear to me : )

A wash is part of a service only, right?

Dirty bike? Fabulous. I earned that mud. The only time it gets washed is at service, or when the Hooters Wash Crew Shows up. : D

Ug, I like my bike looking nice when I ride. So.... I wash it about once a week. Yeah yeah, wasting riding time. Though, how many of you have 32,000 miles on the clock in just over 2 years.

when i wash, it usually rains immediately thereafter. with that in mind, when i start sneezing and feeling sinusy, i wash my bike so that all the pollen gets knocked down. : )
