Could somebody let me know what the part number for a XB12R stock muffler is? I was given this: BUELL MUFFLER PN#S0110.02A8.

Is this the right number? If any person has access to a parts catalog, I would really appreciate. Thanks,

Paul

Looking at the part # you have, it looks like you got the first numbers S0110. from line 12 and 02A8 from line 13 of the 2007 Buell Parts Catalog....... if that helps clear up any confusion that you may have.

What are you going to do with a new muffler? OR.... What happened to the old one?

Mark, thanks for the number. Long story short, a few days ago I sold my Drummer and I'm now mufferless!

Here is the link to my "ordeal".

Another question, all stock mufflers for XB's are the same, aren't they?

That trip sounds like a blast! I have a Uly and a Firebolt. The Uly gets all the miles. I have a Cee Baileys 16" windscreen and it helps a lot on long rides. The stock Bags are OK, but if I could get my hands on some top loaders for not much $$$ I would do it.

Hope you find a Muffler soon and have fun on your trip!!

POST PICS WHEN YOU GET BACK!!

No.
The "9" mufflers don't have the interactive valve, and I believe I read somewhere that the internal chamber volumes are different as well, due to the different sizes of the exaust pulses of the 9 vs 12.

clear as mud???
