Is there anyone who has tried so get the rear footpegs at a lower or better position? My girlfriend can't ride with me because the kneeangle is to painful for her long legs.. Guess everyone loves long legs. My XB12Ss doesn't.. Love to hear (and maybe see) if anyone has solved this issue? Maybe there's anyone selling this part that i need?? To be able to share the fun with her is important to me because she really loves to go with me on my Buell.. Help me please...

I've heard of people needing to do the same thing.
Try swapping them (left to right), may be a little more to it then that, but you get the idea.

Be careful on this. I had to pick up a new set of rear peg mounts, and the dealer gave me the wrong ones, when I got them on my 'Bolt they were longer than the stock ones and would rub the swingarm when the bike squatted. Keep an eye on how far you move that peg in relation to the swingarm.

"dealer gave me the wrong ones"

Do you know what they actually fit, if they didn't fit your Firebolt?

My guess would be they fit the Uly as they are longer from mount to peg than the one for my 'Bolt. Here's the problem I run into at just about every dealer. And all you dealer guys pay attention! Even the dealers that have a guy who is great with Buells (Brian @ Legend, Kevin @ DHD, etc.) it is the rest of the staff, and I point a finger directly at the parts desk peeps, that know squat about the entire line. So while there are very subtle differences in the Firebolt and the Uly, those peeps don't know it, and can't look at it and tell. Thus, the last 3 times I have purchased parts for my Firebolt, the parts desk gave me the one for a Uly or something else. 'cause it don't fit! HD needs to do a better job dealerwide in educating their own employees about the product they sell, and quit treating it like the illegitimate bastard child of Anna Nicole.

The ss and the uly have the same frame, right?? What if you use the uly set-up and switch both pegs on both sides???
I don't know if it will work or solve you problem but you shouldn't have a problem with them rubbing on the swing arm. It might be worth a shot.

Just looked at some pics of both the uly and the ss.... Looks like the riders foot pegs with the uly set-up will be lower than the ss. So if you do use the uly set-up you may want to switch the pegs out for bolt pegs. This should bring your feet up about an inch. Personally, I don't think the uly set-up is as aesthetically pleasing as the ss.

The cg has 1" lower rider pegs, but I'm not sure they'll fit on the back.

Check out the XBs rider pegs, they are 1 inch lower than the straight peg. They are not very expensive.
If they fit, they would lower the passengers feet.

I switched the rear pegs left/right on a XB9R just for my wife. The results are far more comfortable for her than when stock as the foot position is about 3 inches forward and down. However it does look kinda goofy with them mounted at that angle. That doesn't matter to me though because we are both able to ride with no problems now.

It takes a little clearancing and filing to make this mod, but it's fairly straightforward. I think there's description of this mod somewhere on the BadWeb.

The 'S' pegs will fit on the rear and vice-versa, this will give her 1 inch of difference, and it makes a difference.

Sparky-does her feet tend to rub the back of your leg?

U4euh, there's no interference -- I'm running the S pegs up front and my legs angle forward while seated.

BTW, her knee angle while seated is about the same as mine.
