Just picked up my wife's Midnight black XB12Scg yesterday from Trev Deeley Vancouver yesterday. There are obvious differences that are quite positive beyond my '05 XB. The clutch and tranny- so much nicer, and the new rubber (Diablo T's) really improves the handling over those old Dunlop hoops. I also noticed quite a bit more engine noise ...er...I mean sound coming from the airbox. It will be able to suck in more air I am quite sure. My wife is quite stoked now but also a bit nervous as she hasn't had a bike for about 10 years. We'll spend a bit of parking lot play time before we venture out on the roads together.

The timing is quite good as I pick up my bike from the shop today. It was in there because some theiving anus-breathed maggot minded short peckered cretin messed it up 4 weeks ago. I'll be very happy to get her back.

It's going to be a happy Easter. So happy Easter to all and eat chocolate without guilt. And those with kids, you are allowed to eat any chocolate your kids don't find.

congrats on the bike. we got the orange for the wife and right now i'm just trying to get her more time on the blast before she tries to go on the xb. pretty big difference between the cyclone and the lighting i think. hope your wife enjoys it and ride safe.

Still hunting for the thief. If I bag him I'll take his gear to the taxidermist and make a wall mount. People won't think it will be real cuz it will obviously look like a miniature.

Yeah, my wife wishes we got a smaller refresher bike just to get used to riding again. She used to have an early 90's CBR 600 that obviously had a really feeble and unintimidating low end.
