Author Message   Tork Posted on Monday, April 02, 2007 - 06:43 pm:        I recently put on an Ermax undertail on my 12R, but I didn't like the stock plate mounting. I wanted to move the plate under the tail and wanted something different from simply mounting it flat under the fender above the wheel. I found a posting on another board somewhere where another 12R owner used a laydown plate kit for a Harley Dyna. By flipping it upside down from it's intended mounting, you can place it under the tail and give the plate a little more angle to increase visibility and hopefully, get less grief from the Po-Po. I augmented the mounting with some white LED license plate bolts for illumination.
