You may want to wait on some guys who deal with ebay regularly to reply, I have only dealt with ebay a little. My advice, retract your payment and you can almost guarantee they will respond. Then you will have their attention. Then you can say, "Hey, I just want the part" or whatever you decide to do.

I deal with ebay on a regular basis. If I were you, I would retract my payment and wait for a response. If the seller has very little feedback, I would definitely wait until they contact you for payment. They may well be genuine and are away for some reason. Ebay is based on trust and I have had mainly good dealings with the people that trade on ebay. However, there are those on ebay that are scammers. If your payment had been claimed straight away but you received no contact, then the person you are dealing with could be a scammer. But as the payment has not been claimed, I would give them the benefit of the doubt, but still retract payment until contact has been made. Don't be fooled in to thinking that you will be 'paid' out by paypal if it all goes wrong, as you will only receive a percentage of the original purchase. Hope this helps!

Give him a couple more days. I've sold lots of stuff on ebay and almost always ship right away but there have been times when it took a few days due to unexpected business travel or other unforeseen circumstance.

If this is his first paypal transaction he may not be able to figure it out or he may not have "verified " his account yet , which could delay his claiming. You are protected by paypal so you shouldn't have to retract your payment. You would be better served to open an "item not received dispute" I have over 100 ebay transactions with only one scam.

Not everyone who sells on eBay can respond swiftly--regular jobs get in the way. Paypal will refund money in a 30 day window so give him a little time to respond. I have had that problem several times selling things and been sent out on long-ass fire. Some folks get testy real fast. Not every seller is a dealer, etc.

ya give them a little while especially if they are new sellers...i have over 250 transactions and only one bad one....paypal makes u wait for like 5 days or so before u can even file anyways...save ur emails in case u do have to file it helps....ive had stuff i had to wait over a month for...it happens...most ship in a day or so but sometimes u gotta wait....ive had a few times just like jim when i had to go out of town for work and i didnt get to mail something for over a week or so.
