I'm in the market for new xb12scg 07
but i'm finding out buying a Buell is a whole different game. compared to purchasing a Harley. I'm a sportster owner & that was a pleasant exp. But Buells: it's almost like "this is the price you want it or not". the sticker is 10495 what do you guys think is a fair price out the door. I just need a good ideal to work with, i don't want to waste any of the salesman time.

$10,495 with a $500 in-store voucher for parts/accessories/or apparel. I paid full price for my new 05 scg and although I wanted to bargin, they didnt. I didnt care for their lack of movement at the time, but now looking back I could give two S**ts as I love the bike so much and feel its worth every penny, and then some. Its the old "you cant put a price on happiness" and boy am I happy !!

Buells are priced and floored differently than Harleys (I ought to know, I own one of each and sell them daily) The Harleys have freight and a PDI assembly on them, and then there is the market driven pricing for the H-D models. So you can see the same bike at a couple of different dealers for different prices. There is a different margin on the Buells compared to the Harleys, there really isnt the room to move off of an MSRP price. Now there are deals to be had on any left over remaining new stock say for 2005, or 2006 (not that we have any....) I had to wait 6 months for my CityX, no dealer would trade one, and our order was that far out. I know what the bike cost me, but you couldn't pay me to have mine back. I enjoy it too much, that is the real value of the bike. 8995 + 1500 in accessories (and still counting)
