Does anyone know if there are lightweight fiberglass replica parts available for the front fairing (doesn't need to have headlight holes), tank cover and one piece rear tail for a Firebolt? I thought Hal's sold them but I cannot find them on their site. I'm not interested in carbon fiber. Thanks in advance... | ||

Hal's does sell them - call their race shop. I know they don't post their bodywork online (they should) They are the exclusive seller of Sharkskinz bodywork for the XB. | ||

I know it's not "lightweight" but it is lighter with the rear seat out. Just did this today. Now I have to redo the number plate!    | ||

Hey Frank. It's just plan old adhesive vinyl. I need to get some that I can use a blow-dryer to smooth it out. | ||

Rocco, Have you tried a blow drier on what you have? If not, go to a hobby shop that does r/c stuff and ask for some "trim strip". It's super light weight and is heat shrinkable. But it's somewhat fragile. If applied with care, it's not so fragile, and lasts forever, until more heat is applied. In other words, don't use it near exaust heat. Tank |
