I recently purchased a new seat from on the HD dealers in the sponsor section. To be honest, i dont even know what seat it was, but i felt that $98 to lower the seat and add some styling to my 9SX was clearly a small price to pay. That being said, i couldnt wait to get out and test it out. Everyone said dont do it, but i laughed in their faces and rode for 2 hours with my buddy (he rides a BMW F650). This seat is far from the most comfortable, but i think that for playing its fine and touring...not so much. Heres a pic of lovely Syracuse new york today (it was 55 deg!)

I took my lightning low seat to a guy who does a lot of MC seats. He took the original foam out and replaced it with a thicker, softer foam. Have only ridden about 100 miles on the new seat but it sure does feel more comfortable than the original. Cost $75 to do it. My main concern, tho, was that I might be more tiptoed, but because the foam is softer, I'm about where I was with the original low seat.
