Ok guys, here's a nice easy one for ya'. I have an '03 XB9arrr!!! and I want to take the little black plastic piece around the headlight indent area off. How is that little part held on? Is it glued? Or is it attached somewhere? I need to take it off without destroying it, 'cause I want to reuse it.

Double faced tape, get it hot and carefully pry it off.

Thanks, I'll give it a go. Guess that tells me how to re-attach it too huh?

If ya don't break it taking it off.
I've not seen one come off in one piece yet.
You could be the first!

Sweet! I'm putting the full body kit on it, and it doesn't have them so I want to get them off so I can put them on that. Might end up ordering a set from the dealer, huh?

Tim,

I've tried to do this twice and broken them both times. If you need another set I can get them for you. This is the pricing info:

M0065.02A8 BEZEL, front fairing right, black, w/ tape XB12R/XB9R $32.00 MSRP $28.80 BWB
M0064.02A8 BEZEL, front fairing left, black, w/ tape XB12R/XB9R $32.00 MSRP $28.80 BWB

Email me at jcox@cycleconnectionh-d.com if you need them. Hopefully you can get them off without issue to start with though!

Josh
