Glitch, Nice Job. I would love to change the dash on my bike, You should have heard the lecture I got from my service dept about cracking open the insturement cluster and "messing with the gauges" Hell not like I am changing the odo! That being said, I want the stock XB9R face plate for my CityX. It is in orange. My bike is now Valencia, the blue looks out of place. Anybody got one that they dismantled? Can I order this part as a replacement item (with out ordering the whole cluster?) Thanks for your help | |||

I want the stock XB9R face plate for my CityX. It is in orange. My bike is now Valencia, the blue looks out of place. Cityxslicker, I have a 9R. You say you have a blue dash face? Got a pic? I might like a blue one. Perhaps we trade? Edit: Sorry. nevermind. I think I miss-read your post. When you said: "for my CityX. It is in orange." I thought you meant that your citycross was in orange, but I think what you mean is that you want an 9R dash in orange, right? My 9R dash is silver. Saintly, that is exactly what I am jones-ing for. I changed my bike over to the Valencia orange, and that Blue gauge is always staring me in the face reminding me that it was Blue. Its just one of those things that will drive me to compulsion. You can have my Dash for a direct trade. PM sent | |||

Tks, I did one of those too (Venom). With the exception of the flyscreen and the Buell stuff, all other graphics were created by me. A version with just a web instead of the face on the front might look cool and not violate any copyrights. Spiderman: 69, my birth year. I was hoping you'd won that TT. An MJ II would be cool! Sorry for the delay fellas, but this weekend has been a busy one. I swapped my S tail for an R tail. Had my main computer die. And life in general has picked up speed, with baseball spring training, band practice, the list goes on. I'll be printing up the design at work since my computer here at home died and took a lot of data with it. I'll be printing it out on transparency film, "erasing" the face of my old one, and mounting it there. The only difference to the one I'm putting on my bike, and the one above is the "GLITCH" will be white. Thanks for all the compliments! | |||

That is awesome!! I'd like to have something from my XB12X. I'm making it into an evil twin of an XB12X...I'm calling it an XB12X-R. I'm doing some suspension mods, putting on lighter XBR wheels, wave rotors, lower bars, and a few other goodies. The custom dash would be icing on the cake. Can you send me the template?? How do I get them printed?? What do they print on?? I'm very interested!! |
