I've seen some reflective tape at our local BMW shop (Lone Star BMW/Triumph - Austin) that is black in the sunlight, but reflects like any other reflector when hit with light at night. You could cut it to fit any shape you wanted.

since you last seen it. i have painted and powder coated the, shifter, rear brake, pegs....

Ahhh.. I should have noticed that. The pegs should have been a dead giveaway!
How could I forget what your pegs looked like(wink, wink... nudge, nudge).

After all, we are sort of blood brothers(or at least sand brothers).
Curse that evil porch!!!

Gary - Constructive critism only... But your bike is BEGGING for a polished frame and swingarm. I normally don't care for that look, but your bike just screams for it.

Trojan,
I noticed the clip-ons on the XB pics.
Where did you get them?
Also, did you have to swap out the forks, or is that a stock XB unit?

Handlebars are Crossroads Performance 54mm clip on bars. These feature very narrow clamps that will fit above the top triple tree on the XBS models using stock forks and triple trees. The only modifications needed are to move the headlight/instrument bracket forward by around 1" using longer bolts and tubular spacers. I also changed the clutch cable for an XBR item as it routed better. When moving the headlight brackets you will lose the steering lock function, but it never was great to start with.

Those pics are of our 2002/203 race bike, and the body work was made from a Yamaha TRX850 top fairing (fits using the stock Buell brackets too : ) ) and a modified Suzuki TL1000 aftermarket belly pan. We moulded up the 'Ram air' tubes using plumbers pipe and some large bore flexible automotive hoses.

CityXslicker, did you have to get longer cables & brake lines to use those bars?
I was considering doing the same on my XBS.
Thanx.

Already got a set of MT80s here, ready for Dual Sport Nw in August, I did just add the Uly dunloop to the rear to get a lil more mud through the strainer. That exhaust is what is slowing me down, really limits my ground clearance.... I would trade ground clearance for mass centralization (sorry Erik) Get on with the Bendy and Dirty : D

I just went to Pirrelli's web site to look at that MT80. I really like the looks of it but they only list it in a 130/17. Are other sizes available?
