No, not a video. What I'm looking for is the clips that hold the tailbag onto the luggage on the xb's. I bought the bag at a yardsale and two of the clips were broken. Buell does not sell them. They look exactly like the "rock lockster" clip that is available but that clip won't engage. HELP!!!

Are they like these?

look through some of the categories that those are listed in. Also check the listings of some of the sellers. Those come for various widths of strapping and with more than one end (single bar, double bar, etc.).

I got some to replace some missing ones for the tank bag on my M2 and they worked fine.

You are a man for chrisesake! Use duct tape, it's your gawd given right!!

I'd say try an outfitter like REI or Dicks. They have a whole section of little plastic clippy things.

So close..... I have seen all of these before, some are in a growing pile on my workbench. the buell clips are different in that the center tang has a slot and the outboard tangs have an oval shape.... ? I'll keep looking, thanks for the leads.

Don't give up yet. The ones I wanted to replace (came on a Buell branded tank bag) had a product name molded into them.

I looked for the name of the product, found the company, and browsed their online product catalog.

Then I found the exact same buckle in those eBay listings. When you do a search on eBay you can search the item description too by checking a box. That will often make a big difference in finding something. The model name or permutation of it (hyphen left in, hyphen left out, etc.) might show up.

Post the markings from one of those here, I may even have some of them.

No markings at all!!! Nothing! I just don't get it. They look EXACTLY like the 'rock lockster' buckle but the inside molding is different. faaaak.

The buckles on my Buell stuff are all made by National Moulding, Farmingdale, NY. The most common one is marked Side Squeeze M-SS-1.

Duraflex is a line of buckles made by National Moulding, here is a page for them, maybe the one your looking for is there:

http://www.natlmold.com/hot.html

They have a bunch of different models, including the Rock Lockster you mention. Maybe if you scroll down to the bottom and scroll through each of the different lines you'll find yours.

I went through some of them and don't find the M-SS-1 buckles although there are some identical or very similar buckles with other names.

It is all a little bewildering...
