Maybe they'll make the 'Bolt a bit faster !
I ordered a box of NGK DCPR9EIX plugs to change when I have the bike apart to install a Micron Exhaust, do an ECM Flash open airbox kit, re-route the breathers, etc. When I checked the applications the plugs fit, they are OEM in a series of Ferraris !!!
http://www.sparkplugs.com/results_fitment.asp?pid= DCPR9EIX

If it's good enough for Enzo, It's good enough for me !

I thought it was Kinda Cool!

Are they the correct temp rating? If not they're not going to last very long.

The "9" is one range colder than OE. It gets warm in Alabama and I'm good about letting things warm up to prevent fouling.
BTW, the OE heat range plug is used in Lamborginis and BMW's.

The 9 is the correct plug for the XB, and it is actually the NGK application chart that is wrong. NGK have not changed the information since Buell changed the heat range of the OE plug some years ago.

Hmmm, glad I asked as I usually run NGKs on my bike. I bought what the chart said to buy. I haven't had any problems with them yet, but now I'm wondering if I've got the right plugs.

Hey Cap
I see you're in Mobile too. I was wondering if there were any other Buellers in this town.

I think you'll have trouble with those plugs. The NGK Plug # is DCPR9EIX Stock # on them is 2316.
I ordered mine from sparkplugs.com and got a set of V Powers for the race car.

Shoot,I'm right! These are the right plugs (5545). NGK said that this is the new part number for XB series!

Plugs were ordered online Sunday, shipped Monday and here on Friday. I'm liking sparkplugs.com

Big, it looks like that have an additional designator for that spark plug gap, and it has a 13/16" hex.

I like the 5/8" hex for wrench / socket clearance around the header tubes on my race cars. I didn't even consider the larger hex size would fit into the area.

Ya, stock size is 5\8 socket and the 5545 NGK use 18mm socket, works just fine on my SSLong.
