Nice. I have that exact same Pirelli sticker on my SX swingarm too. Those CRG levers and Crossroads Bars are cool looking. The only other thing I would do is polish that header pipe to make it one consistant color. Good job!

Sweet ride - the lower bars look tight!
I run the same American Sport Bike open air box kit, but not through a translucide cover. That K&N really looks good, especially when you can see it from the seat!
Good job and bring on the Spring weather!

Eric, very nice! Looks like the new Drummer catch can went on with no problem. I know they are pricey but Kevin's new Drummer CF would look really good on your bike.

Looks great! If you don't mind a dumb question, what's the attraction of short clutch and brake levers? Is it just for looks, or is it supposed to fill some other functional need?

Looks good. That catch can looks really good!

I like shorty levers, I only use two fingers on the clutch and the brake so the rest is in the way, usually hit my other fingers knuckles.

Typeone, it took about 10 minutes to install. Makes a big difference in pull effort. The only testing we could do was a burnout in the garage since it's about 15 below zero out right now. The burnout went well : ) I was a little worried about the clutch adjustments too, but I'll just have to wait until spring to see what needs to be done. The clutch felt good, I think we have it set up correctly. I just used my Buell Shop Manual to set it to stock specs for now, and I hope that's all I'll have to do. If not, making adjustments will only take a few minutes. If it ends up being a pain, I'll just take it out. I saw your post on the custom dashplates. I want one!!!

I too was Going to ask on the Free Spirits Clutch Thingy. I had one and could not get it dialed in "correctly". My cable was to tight when it was fully engaged. I did use it a while like it was, but always was thinking in the back of the head if this was the day..I wounder If they fixed that problem? It did pull easier when it was in.

I now have the Muller and adj. it was as it should be...Simple.

984gasm, it's easy as pie. Only takes a few min. They only thing you really need to do is loosen your clutch cable before your install the clutch lever. It'll make it much easier. I put some white lithium grease on my levers before I installed them. By the way, I love your name! Clever!

Thanks... I just went to town on parts, once you start, it's so hard to stop, buy new muffler straps, and next thing you know you have a $700 bill..

Have the crg levers coming (short black)
rizoma handle bar clamp
black handlebars
new grips....

Also fravel, what did you use to plug up the mirror holes?

Fravel, thanks for the feedback on the soft clutch. Guess I'll give it a go. Hoping I don't run into the issues you had, Firebolteric ;) maybe they tweaked the design (?)

regarding those mirror plugs, your Buell/HD shop might have them too. i snagged a set that are made for the R from my dealer. only cost like .60 FYI.

For those interested in those plastic plugs for the mirror holes. You can get them at Lowes. They are in the assorted fastener drawers and they are for NISSANs. They fit perfect. I actually snipped a very small bit off the bottom, because they just bottomed out, but they look perfect, are in there good, and were only a dollar! : )

i tried at Lowes and Home Creepo. neither of my local stores carried them but yes, look in the fastener drawers. you might have better luck as the others did.

Mxer83, Trojan Horse sells the belt tensioner kit. This is what they have to say about it on their website:

The stock Buell belt tensioner is designed to keep the belt under constant tension, except it doesn’t!
When the suspension is completely unloaded, such as when pulling stoppies or even braking hard, the tension is
increased to an alarming degree, which can actually
damage belts, wheel bearings and pulley bearings.
This spring loaded item is designed to maintain a tension of 10.5kg regardless and will help lengthen belt and bearing life. Extensively tested in competition this is a must have accessory. Utilizes stock tensioner wheel.

I really like mine
