I am gonna take the plunge and buy a xb12r. This is a great site to do research and it answered allot a questions i had about daily driving to the after market of the buell xb12r. I am stationed at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii with The Navy. There is only one Buell Dealership on the island. They have 2 06 leftovers . The dealer offered 10500 otd. I am paying cash. Is this a deal? How low can i go without being ridiculous?

Tell him that you want the extended warranty for 10,500 otd, or the bike for 9k. I think I got the dealership down to $8,900 for my 12r and then basically paid close to sticker with the 5 year warranty included.

Ive got an 06xb12r with around 2000 miles, has the spec ops pipe and holes drilled in inner air box, the rest is all stock. The bike was always kept in a heated garage and was never down, service done at dealership, synthetic harley oil. This bike is pretty much perfect, pic in profile, I will take $8750 and help with delivery if you are interested. I am trying to buy a house and must get rid of all toys that are not paid for. I really like this bike and hate to sell it, will have another one just like it one day, but you know how it is. Also selling a 99 z28 camaro with a 6 speed and a built engine if any1 is interested. I hate growing up

P.S. bike has transferrable warranty and still have the stock pipe if you want it, also have joe rocket riding jacket, o'neal back pack and a harley bike cover that can go with it.

um... er.... AJ........ you could probably sell it better if you didn't have a picture of you cranking a wheelie on it.

that's something that I would not want to see on a bike I was thinking of purchasing. Just a suggestion, not a slam.

I got mine for 7,800.00 otd on a left over w/ 4 miles on the odometer. Look around as there are killer deals to be had.

I got mine at Edison HD/Buell in New Jersey.

yes, I know what the dealer pays.

I'd say about 9000.00 plus tax and Lic. fees is about fair

WOW-

I love this thread

Should retitle it

HOW I GOT SKREWED OUT OF ALMOST TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS

My bike cost me 10.5K out the door- and i thought I was "ripping the dealer off" for the set up and freight.

HA,ha, ugh

we are talking about 2 left over 06 bikes here.
10,500.00 out the door is a good price on a current year bike

Listen to Daves...$9500.00 OTD would be a decent price, but I think I would be happier with $9000.00 OTD...you can do a lot to your bike with $1000.00 or $1500.00 on American Sportbike.com .....alot...plus you can get a new helmet or something with that..if they offer the T-shirt..say no i will pay for the $20.00 shirt, but throw in the helmet and we have a deal or a jacket of some kind..the T-shirt is what a $7.95 give for a dealership, discounted at cost, could be a bit more but not much...

guys, by "O.T.D." that means the total you are paying with Tax, Title, Tags, Set-up, Doc Fees, etc included....that is not just the bike price

so to me, that sounds like a good deal, that's probably selling the bike at around 9500-9800 or so depending on Hawaii's tax rate

Ed, do it man...you will love it. try to get some freebies out of it (shirts, hats, frame pucks, tail bag, or something)and welcome to the family.
