Do the longer XBs have a longer rear fender, and if so, will a rear fender from a long bike (Long, Uly, TT) fit on a short bike (like my CityX). Just looking for alternatives to get more rear tire coverage. Thanks.

The vestigial 04 hugger simply protects the lower shock mount and collects gravel.

New models have a different hugger which fits above the swingarm but the difference in tyre coverage is minimal.

The hugger from the XB12X/XB12SS will NOT fit any of the pre-2006 model XB's as mounting points are completely different.
It will however fit the 2006 on XB9SX and XBS models and replace the very small original hugger.

Thanks Trojan, that is what I was asking. I have a 2006 CityX and want a little more debris/water protection than the stock rear hugger (fender, mudguard, etc.) gives and wanted to know if a Uly hugger will fit the short wheelbase swingarm.
