Call it a XB12Xcg or a Uly low... but I heard it (or maybe it's wishful thinking).

Erik said something to the affect of (not an exact quote here):

'The Uly is a great bike, the only problem is it's tall. Maybe we can address that with another model'

Sure sounds like a lowered Uly could be in the offerings someday. Anyone else hear it?

I think something like that might get me to trade in my CityX.

p.s. SuperTT much cooler looking in person than pics, just like everyone says. hmm... Uly with lower, but not too low, SuperTT suspension? Makes sense, 80% of SUV's are never driven off road anyway...

I might be helping someone out with that pretty soon.

Isn't the SuperTT basically the Uly frame with Lightning suspension? Viola. A low Ulysses. Without bags or a back seat.

That would be cool; but would it still be a Ulysses?

Or

Would it be a big bore City-X?

There appear to by many, who would like to use the Uly hard bags for touring. For those that do, I reckon that installing a Ulysses rear section and peg mounts on a Lightening Long would suit them.

Shouldn't be hard to do either.

I sat on the TT and it was every bit as tall as the XB12x.

Oh, and one more thing:
I was at the Lars Anderson thing ans was able to record the first 45 minutes of Erik's deal.
(ran out of storage)
I'm trying to figure out how to torrent it out. (alternate thread in quick board)

I guess the SuperTT did feel as tall to me also, I was thinking it was just the seat height (flat like CityX) that did that. Put the scooped 07 Uly seat on there, I bet we would have felt the difference.

I know I read somewhere the TT suspension had 1 inch less travel than Uly (5.5 instead of 6.5 I think). But yea, even a little lower wouldn't hurt.

I was there too with my wife. On Sunday my wife and I rounded the trip off back to MD with a stop at the International Motorcycle Show in New York. A 900 mile, 4 wheeled trip to New Enland. Still so much more to see up there.

Where is Court posting the photos of the event? Also where are the photos of others being posted?
