So I was changing my spark plugs on my 2004 Firebolt and I noticed something I had never seen before. The rear isolator bracket was a nice machined piece of aluminum with "Woodcraft" written on it.

I know Woodcraft makes some fine racing parts and bike stands, but I did not know they were a vendor to Buell. Kinda cool.

You can partially see it here.

Are you the original owner? I don't believe that is stock.

That's not stock...

Woodcraft certainly does make and sell that piece though...

No, I am not the original owner. That probably explains it, then.

I went to the Woodcraft website and there was no sign of this part...

To me, it seemed weird of all things they would make would be an isolator bracket.

The story behind my bike is that the original owner worked at the Buell factory.

The race kit was on it as well and the motor is very strong compared to my XB9SX. When I changed the plugs on it they were perfect in color indicating ideal combustion. Like I said, the bike runs very well...

That is badass! I would talk to the original owner or contact Woodcraft. I know the XBRR has several woodcraft components and it is the official swingarm stand for the bike. Heck I think it comes in the crate.

BTW, you do know you don't have to pull the lower airbox cover to chage plugs right? All you need is a good swivel. 15 min. job tops.

Nasty,

I changed the wires too. Lower box cover has to come off.

Maybe the guys that work at the factory get their bikes with a few extra goodies?
