Hey I hate the whole Idea that I wasn't selected also, but I have to deal with it. Johnnymossville did an awesome job but he modified the original image too much. In my first version I painted the fork guard and later realized that that has to stay unpainted as to not disqualify. The top 10 were just 10 selected by Erick and his staff. That in no way means everyone else didn't do that great of a job. Judging art is the most difficult thing to do if the criteria for design is general like this contest.

I just think it's amazing that you can say "picture this...." and no one will have the same image in their mind.

Agreed on the wheels... I always loved the amber wheels though. Maybe the frame could be done up the same too.

Isham, I agree totally, it was a fun contest no matter what and it was a nice thing for Buell to do. I enjoyed it alot and have no hard feelings whatsoever that mine wasn't picked for the final ten. I knew going in the front fork guard was a no-no, but couldn't let it go unpainted as I think that's going cheap, something I would never do. They are just plastic afterall like the rest.

The guy who wins will surely have earned it.

Now, who are we going to vote for so they can win it?

I voted for the pin up girl. She's cool and the design is simple yet striking.

#7 Road is the best, hands down.

Yes the pinup girls are beautiful but the design is very sloppy. The top, side, and fly screen views don't even match up with each other. The road version #7 gets my vote. That one is well thought-out and I like the way the design slims up the number plate on the side. I can just print up some decals of those pinups here at home because I already have them and apply them to my Buell I already have.

You know you could just put a woman's face on the flyscreen too cause the headlights kinda look like you know what... hehe.

Man, that camo bike in the other thread is cooler than most of the final 10.... but then they probably got lots of camo designs.
Oh yeah, and the pin up girl does look better in your design.

On the flags, I meant those were public domain. I know the logos are under copy write, that is why I did NOT put them on there. Though there are more than a couple of Speed Triples and Ducs that have seen the ass end of my CityX , They can hang, right up to the point that I run down a dirt road at a high rate of speed (50mph on dirt road try that on your Busa)
