sorry if this has been done to death, but it never interested me before .. but now its winter & i stripped a few things off .. i have an 05 xb12r .. which might still have to do double duty (road/track) ..

so i was looking to see if a viable LED lit rear unti was available anywhere .. elsewise i can just keep the stocker & swap to a fiberglass unit for track duties?!

sick of the taping ritual .. want to improve/test weight savings too ..

i know its a long shot, but its winter & this is the time! ;)

pauly.

We do an RRC lightweight pre-preg carbon tail unit that is shorter than the stock item by 90mm and has an LED rear light built in. The whole tail unit weighs just 650 grammes. It uses the stock seat pad and stock undertray, which needs to be modified slightly.
The down side is of course the cost.....GBP492 (approx US$945 approx) : (
