Today while riding I needed to "hit" the horn so an old lady wouldn't run me down, and I found out that its not working. I searched for the horn but couldn't find it - where is it placed?

I think a wire is probably disconnected as all the electrical wires were tightened and taped after my 5K service.

behind the front fairing mounted in front of the ECM. You will have to take the fairing off to get to it.
