I have tried emailing them in regards to prices and other info and have gotten no reply.

Most of that stuff can be had from Matt at Trojan Horse. And he speaks very good English (even if his "American" isn't that good)...

But seriously, Trojan Horse is a sponsor of this board, so check him out!

They use a different weave overseas I've heard - not sure if true but watch mixing and matching

carbon-depot sells the undertail piece on ebay so maybe they can order what you want.

the carbon depot stuff is purely cosmetic if it's the stuff I'm thinking of.

There has been a lot of "Carbon fiber" sold on ebay that is heavy carbon covered
parts. Be very wary of that type of parts if you are looking for real c-f parts.

I was more interested in the full fairing. But like I said, I've had no response from them.

Just an FYI... I'm sure that the fiber that Matt sells is good quality (if not great) I've personally seen the stuff that Al sells at American Sport Bike and it's top notch.

I won't tell Ilmberger you said that ;)

Probably the best quality carbon fibre in the world..and suppliers to the MotoGP Ducati team amongst others.

I have also tried contacting Laque & Deco a few times in the past to try and get their full fairing, but got no reply either.
We don't sell their parts, although a lot of what they do appear to be copies of other parts already available (other than the fairing/seat unit) to be honest.

If you want a full fairing in carbon fiber racingmotorcycles.com sells some very good
carbon-kevlar pieces: http://racingmotorcycles.com/products.asp?id=8
The pieces are made by sebimoto and can also be bought through other vendors as well,
but I'm not aware of any of our sponsors carrying it.

My personal feeling after working with both the sharkskinz and Sebimoto fairings is
that the sebimoto fairings are higher quality even with their fiberglass fairings.

Sharskinz (availible exclusively through Halspa.com in the US and Via Trojan-Horse
in the UK) does have the advantage of offering a street version of their full fairings.
However it is not available in carbon. Just fiberglass.

I have to ask if the reason you want carbon is for looks. For most people it is not
really cost effective to use carbon fiber bodywork. It is far more expensive, and more
fragile than it's fiberglass counter parts in some ways, especially if left "in the raw"
for bling factor where UV light will cause the resin to become more brittle.

My interest was more in the full fairing and tail section because it looks different than the others out there.

I know nothing about Laque & Deco, but I have one of these that is shown on their website at the shop:

I have no doubt whatsoever that it is the same part. And it is absolutely without a doubt the biggest piece of crap CF I've ever laid my eyes upon, period. Whoever is building it should be ashamed of themselves.

See how it looks like a different black color around the lights and stuff? That's because it is black paint to cover up where the outer layer of CF stops and the inner layer of chopped matt fiberglass starts. The part is only CF on the outer layer. The shapes and fit to the bike are horrible, only outdone by how bad the workmanship is. I generally don't like to slag on other peoples stuff, but in their case I'll make an exception because whoever is selling that stuff is just plain stealing from people.

We keep that part around the shop to show people just how BAD CF parts can be made. A customer who bought it gave it to us because he was going to throw it in the trash can, it is THAT bad. It didn't cost him very much, but I'd say that even at that, he didn't get his money's worth. It is unusable.

Another customer has the chin cowl shown on their site. While not quite as bad as the XB-S undertail, it is close. Same construction methods, same black paint treatment, same uneven weave. But at least it was able to be fit on the bike.

I bought some parts from them because I am in France and I didn't find the same parts ( Design ) from another manufacturer.
Those parts are expensive, too expensive for the poor quality. It's a thin layer of carbon with a lot of resin !
I asked Al to make the same parts but he didn't want to clone - it's a shame for me -
i bought a carbon part to Al( the windscreen ) it's true carbon, the carbon I am looking for, but i want the laque et deco design.

Coyote_xb12s,
I'll try to call them next week and I'll let you know for the full fairing but as Al and I ( IMHO ) said it doesn't worth.

Laque et deco is not making any more carbon parts.
Carbon fiber is too expensive and hard to find in France, this is due to the new Airbus A380. It's absorbing all the carbon fiber production.
They are still making polyester parts.
the full fairing not painted is 1018 Euro about 1300 $
