I don't think you'll find a Flow narrow enough.

Yeah, I bet your right but the music would be wonderful. I would just like top broaden the available set ups. I Cant afford the 600$ for a D&D and the 300+ for a Spec Ops is outta my range but 70 for the can and 20 for the outlets/inlet and I can weld it all up and install the fairing brackets...Thats in my price range for now...

The Latus muffler was made from an Edelbrock car muffler.
here is a look at it,

I even leaned it over so you could see it better!

Are they going to make that exhaust again or is it history?

I'd LOVE to fill the gap that Latus left. Does anyone know the p/n of the Edlebrock piece?

I recently modded a stock XB12s/r muffler. Opened it up and inserted a 18" glass pack.

Lets just say, I'm no threat to K/D Fab or Spec/OPS... The 300 clams for the Drummer or Spec/ops is well worth it, unless you have the tools, skills and/or just want a challenge.

So, as I know it, the guys from Latus Harley Davidson in Portland, OR are the ones behind the Latus exhaust. I had a conversation with one of the guys and as I understand it, they still have the capabilities to make or "get" some more exhaust rolling, it just wasn't as cost effective for them in the past, hence the inability to attain one these days.

Believe it or not, after B.S.ing with this guy, I never did ask what it would cost a guy to have one made but, after finding out that it's edelbrock's, he more or less said that any shmo could do it.

Sort of encouraging but, I don't know how to weld and am looking at trying to change that, real soon.

But, he said, basically if you get your hands on an Edelbrock it'll just make sense. I'm saying all of this knowing that I have no idea how to do this. So, don't take my word like I know how to do this. I'm just passing on what I have been told.

So, there you go....

The problem with hanging the Edelbrock muffler will be in the small details...
They will eat you alive!

But it's all a learning experience.

I called Flowmaster today and the tech rep said they are working with the Harley Race Team to come out with a muffler. I ask specifically about Buell and he said "yes"
I also ask how long and he gave me 6 months

Cant wait to hear it.
