I was fortunate to check out the TT today, courtesy of Scott the service manager over at HD/Buell of Baltimore, and I came away far more impressed then I originally had with the whole concept. I found it far cooler looking in person than in the pictures. It has a motocross look and feel to it, which was the point of it I suppose...duh. Shorter in height then the Uly but appears to have a similar long and comfortable seat. When I saw the first pictures of the TT I wasn't fond of the number plates but in person they seem to fit the bike. Overall, pretty cool and I bet they sell a bunch. Thanks again, Scott

EVERYONE has said the number plates don't look as bad in person : )

I got to see it today as well. The number plates look much better in 3-D than in the photos. I didn't notice much of a height difference than the Uly because the suspension is "firmer" than the Uly. It didn't compress as much. The riding position feels similar to the Uly.

I didn't get to ride it, but with the "showroom floor ride", the bike appeared to be a keeper.

I would really like to try the new suspension.

I saw one at Arrowhead HD Buell in Peoria Az, I'm a strict Aerodynamic Speedster (XB12R)BUT I would own one as a second bike. It DOES look a LOT cooler and purposeful in person.

I just saw it today...

Honestly, I'm not all that impressed... Just not my cup of tea.. Though I'd like to see it head to head on flat track against the new HD's XR1200

I did get a smile out of the embossing on the seat.. They have a circle and with a stripe through it showing NO passengers.

Looks like a big bird or some weird circus costume...

I did like that it has a solid back and no cheesegrater.. Man that bike and motor is going to be bitch to clean with out a fender or mudguard on the rear of that front tire.

I sat on one today and will go ride it on sat.

I like the idea, I like the seating position,
doubt I will buy one(got my eye on a S3T)
but still want to give it a go. There are
some dirt trails behind the dealer, wonder if
they would notice. They already told me no
wheelies!!

Oh yeah, the number plates look good in
person, I would have to write something like
my new bumper sticker on them tho'

Did you eat a big bowl of STUPID for breakfast?

I saw one today and I liked it! But I wouldn't trade my Uly for one! I like it better that the other Lighting models though. Now if they would only produce them in black.

Or orange... actually, all the body work is interchangeable, except for the number plates, that would be removed anyway. The Uly front lower fender should bolt right on if you are worried about tire / engine splatter. I know it does on the CityX (pic in profile)
