I think it rips, I spend alot of time in town to and from work, if you don't care about the loss in topend , it's probably one of the best mods for the $$ IMO (160.00)I can't imagine it'll hurt highway riding too much, but if it bothers you being able to do only about 120-122 it probably isn't for you.One side benefit is that the bike doesn't take much clutch feathering to get away from a light.

Black9, keep us updated. i was thinking about doing the same thing as most of my riding is in town. Did you have to use a different chain and if so will you have to retighten your primary chain after 1,000 miles?

The parts to change are the chain and motor sprocket. It is my understanding that the chain and sprocket are the same pieces that are used in an 883 Sportster.I would think if Buell ever went with a 6 speed this type of gearing would probably be a good choice, as it stands now, to me anyway, this makes nearly a perfect "standard" motorcycle, just lacks alittle storage . (none!)

Yea,they are CR lows, I trimmed about a 1/2 inch off the ends, didn't have to alter the controls at all and they are wider, slightly lower. Hope this pic works ok I suck at this!

How do you like those mirrors, they look great. What model are they from?

I've been thinking of doing something similar for a while... A lot of other bikes with nice looking stock mirrors...

These are Aprilia Tuono mirrors from AF1 racing and Aprilia parts. They were 49.95 ea., bolt right on, don't vibrate much , and look something like Buell should have used anyway.A member on the ULY board actually was the first that I saw use these on his bike.
