I've decided to convert my 05 XB12Scg to an XB12Rcg. I'll need the upper triple tree off a 03 or 04 R to match my 05 cg fork tube diameter. As for the rest of the gear for both front and rear conversions, I assume nothing else has changed so I'll be able to use parts from different years interchangeably, right?

Anyway, I have read about the exploded diagrams in the parts manual and would love it if someone could fax me copies of pages showing the front fairing and tail piece/subframe sections of the R along with lists of part #'s. I'd of course be more than happy to cover any expenses. I do have a shop manual, so I am OK as far as the actual work goes; just need the parts list for this job.

I am hoping to do this with used parts primarily, so if anyone has a bead on parts I'll need, go ahead and ping me (if you're offering plastics, I would prefer them to be molded in black). I am prepared to pay cash for parts in good condition and will cover shipping costs as well. I am also looking for an ignition mounting bolt tool if anyone's got one they don't plan on using and could use a few bucks. I am also looking for front and rear stands if anyone's getting rid of theirs.

My goal is to acquire everything I will need here and there as opportunities arise by spring break so I can work on this project during my vacation from class. Wish me luck!

By the way, I'll have a set of LSL 0 degree bars and a Corbin carbon fiber style leather saddle for trade for parts or for sale. Both are in flawless new condition.
