After a hard learned lesson on wheel bearing removal/install, (I spun the rear wheel bearing) I am needing to buy new wheels. Front and rear to be safe. I looked around , but could'nt find any aftermarkets for an XB. Does anybody make them?

So far I have only seen spokes but cannot remember where.

The factory wheels are the best IMHO.

You could get some XBRR wheels. They look the same but are made of Magnesium so they are much lighter.

Perhaps someone on the board would know if they can be repaired.

I would not be surprised if that were the case.

Besides the two options mentioned above, I not be able to find any other wheels. The front has some patent protection, I believe.

If you change your forks and brakes you can use just about any wheels you want. It's a roundabout way but sometimes if you want a different look, you gotta jump through hoops.

Thanks you guys.
By the way, I called the machine shops and they said it would take too many hours to fit a larger bearingto make it cost effective.
I can get stock buells from the hog shop for $350 apeice(absolutely no discount).
I dont know the conversion rates, but all the rims on the above links look more expensive than that.
Once again, thanks for the input.

too worn to use Loctite bearing seal? I had good luck with that a few decades ago. Can't get a cylinder shaped shim made?

List price for XB12, amber wheels is 375.00 each
I sell them for 337.50 each
they come with the new bearings installed so you can just put them on.

Black wheels are
325.80 for the front
337.50 for the rear

Daves, I wonder how much it was cost to ship to Alaska?
Thats a good price considering the hog shop told me it doesnt come with bearings.
I would like black.
Do you have these?

Rhun - There is almost 1/16 of an inch play. Its totally roached.

I would need to order them but they usually only take a few days to get.
Keep in mind that Buell/HD are closed up next week.
I will be here Thurs-Sat next week
Shipping, I am guessing would be about 25.00 or so per wheel?

Roached! I haven't heard that in years.
