...was looking over the Buell website this morning and noticed the following detail...

- On the Lightning, the drivetrain is 1.676:1 (57/34 ratio)

- On the Uly, the drivetrain is 1.500:1 (57/38 ratio)

Just how significant a real world difference does this make for highway cruising? Buell has quoted higher MPG estimates for both city and highway for the Uly.

Also, does anyone know how these numbers compare to the old S3T?

Tube frames were 35/56 for a 1.60 ratio.

Isn't the 57/34 for the XB9's? I thought all of the 12's were 57/38.

The 1.676 ratio is for the Long, I believe. Not sure why.
