if i unplug and remove the speedo / gauge cluster from my XB12S will it start and run? if not, what has to be done to make it start.

if theres something about this in the archives, could someone point me in the right direction - i tried to search and found nothing.

It will start and run . I bought my bike with no gages and rode it around with no problems.

I had a blown fuse take out the instrument panel and it ran fine. It also took out the turn signals, but I don't think that'll happen when you unplug the panel.
