...a relay box for an XB12R. This is the left hand fuse block. Apparently you have to buy the whole stinkin' wiring harness from Buell, but all I need is the box, which is a pathetically small plastic part. Mine is broken and is unable to mount to the bracket or retain the cover. Any ideas?

Duct tape, failing all else.

It is currently in place with a zip tie sans cover.

As a old British car owner...I have used epoxy and JB weld with great success. Only the imagination limits the use of that stuff! You can file it, paint it, and mold it. Use wax paper and take your time.

You could get a similar size project box from radio shack or fry's and just build your own. I used the empty corner of my stock unit to install a power plug for my radar detector.

Out of curiosity, how did it break?

I entered the carousel at Hallett Speedway too hot, ran wide into the grassy runoff, and went down on the left side. I also had to replace the rider's peg (snapped off), fix the shift linkage (broken eye bolt), and replace the magnesium fairing support bracket. (I only missed one session and was right back out on the track thanks to the crew at Cycle Connection Buell in Joplin, MO. They were running their XBRR and hooked me up with the required spare parts on the spot!) I have to say that my 'Bolt did amazingly well in the crash. She still looks great. A CBR600F4i went down in the same spot, and let's just say that it needs a little work and a lot of $$$ to get it back to stock.

Hey, Drake! That's weird, I just sent you an e-mail. It looks like I will not have to sell the bike after all, which I am very happy about to say the least. But I hope you find a Firebolt that suits you. We need more Buells lapping at Hallett! :-)
