I've noticed a few newer BadWeBbers, and thought I'd get the word out once again. There's a fellow BadWeBber, DiabloBrian that needs a little help. He needs to lower his bike a bit. The best way to do this is swap suspensions with an XB Low. So, I'm taking it on myself to put the word out. If you have an XB Low, and would like to have a standard height XB, please get in touch with DiabloBrian. It really would make his life a bit more simple, and his ride more enjoyable. What I didn't know Brian was looking for the lower or this could have been taken care of awhile ago. I'll chat with my brother he has a low and I am sure he wouldn't mind swapping out suspension with Brian. | ||

Thanks guys, I've been beating the drum for a while trying to work this out. Glitch, thanks for stepping up and starting the thread. Thansesxb9rs, thanks for stepping up and getting involved! For those speculating about my being high: I have an excuse and it's even legal! I'm on pain meds so  Yeags30 had offered to swap, but he is in NY and I was hoping someone within a days' drive would be up for the swap to keep it as simple as possible and minimize down time. Anyway Thansesxb9rs: If your brother is up for it I'm around 3 hours from KC. Because my bike is an 03 we won't even need to swap triple clamps. Just forks, shock, and kickstands. It's all good! I'm a patient guy. I started posting about it early so I would have plans in place before winter set in.  I knew it would work out. Badweb is the kind of community where this kind of thing can happen.  | ||

Awesome! You will never know how much I was considering answering your request. The only prob was that I can't afford to ship my parts so I've been sitting here hoping some one else would/could be of service. Will do! The biggest reason for the swap is to increase my stability at a stop. I'm a tall guy, but my bum left leg causes trouble at low to no speed. |
