My Jardine RT1 is done now and the back end cap wiggled itself loose. I love the Jardine cause of the sound and the brackets that come with it that allow you to mount the lower faring but the aluminum is too soft for our bikes. I'd like to get a titanium one that I can slip on or something similar that will slip onto the existing mini down pipe. My question is has anyone slipped anything else on easily or bought the titanium one and have had a longer lasting pipe? On the titanium model is the whole can titanium or is it just the core or end caps? The aluminum one has an aluminum core with SS end caps with SS rivets and the SS hardware on the soft aluminum core destroyed it. | ||

Isham, This is not a slam on you but why do you think NO ONE else makes aluminum mufflers that sell for 226.00 for a Buell except Jardine? Do yourself a favor and buy a good muffler and you won't have these problems. I sell the Jardines too but I tell everyone what I think of them before they buy. The pipe is a cheaply made,cheap priced pipe that is not going to stand up to a Buell for very long. It is not designed for a Buell. They take the exact same can they sell for every sportbike out there, add a couple brackets for the chin(these also break often) give you an adapter pipe and sell it. Not a good idea. The Jardine pipe for a Buell is a POS. Yes, they are cheap and you can(and will) buy 2 for the price of a quality muffler. It's kind of one of those "pay now or pay later" things. Life is too short to own a muffler that needs repacked. Just my opinion YMMV | ||

Yeah, what Dave said. Every Jardine I see is beat to hell. They sound great, when they're new. But that's the end of it. | ||

You're entitled to your own opinion and I appreciate it and I understand what you're saying. Thats why I want to get a titanium or an alternative pipe that is small enough to fit where the jardine was with the existing brackets.. I learned that the Aluminum Jardine is junk and even though I tried to save it I couldn't The drummer looks ace but will break the bank at the same time I could never justify 600 for a pipe with the wife. | ||

The econo Drummer will not do anything but add sound. At least with the Jardine you gain a nice bump in power in the upper rpm's and shave 12 pounds off the bike. I do agree that the aluminum Jardine pipes are not the greatest match for our bikes, but I think the econo Drummer is also not a great investment. You might as well get a standard Drummer. | ||

I'm thinking of getting an econo Drummer because I just want some more noise - I'm perfectly happy with the performance. The Uly sounds like a BMW to my ears at anything over 25mph. |
