Yeah Josh,Buy the Drummer SS. Easier to slip it on and there isn't enough difference. You like me are getting ready to put the bike away for the winter so for you to be put on the list for an SS and wait a bit would be no big deal. Give me a ring man....hows work???

Josh if the Micron is the unit for you then go for it. Daves a great guy to deal with and fast delivery as well. The plus is that there is no shortage on the metal's that are used to make the Micron.lol

In the Exhaust challenge the Micron on a 9 was a clear better performer....

On a 12 I'd go with a drummer

If you remap you'll either need to leave your servo connected (extra weight and current draw), or get an emulator. Otherwise your check engine light will stay on. Race ecm's are fairly cheap and then you have a spare to play with.

I believe the Micron will require periodic re-packing. Just a bit more maint. then the Drummer.

Curious

1. An emulator is in everyway a very simple solution to save a few bucks, can be found on here using the seach option, .80 cents in mine. Or buy one from, again, American Sport Bike, and just plug in and ground it, quite a bit smaller then the home built, still cheaper then a Race ECM.

2. How in the heck are you going to repack a Micron pipe?????????? Do they even have packing?????????

Remeber also, the Micron is a LONG term solution to exhaust tuning, IE if you go big bore or 90" down the road, you will have no issues with restriction that could be caused by the factory header, if there is any.

Give the guy all the options, dollar for dollar, and let him decide guys, dont start bashing everyone on their opinion!!

Bruce

I'm Extremely happy with my MICRON system. It's fairly easy to put on,GREAT sounding and plenty of steady HP throughout the torque curve.

I love mine. No sound like it with the open airbox....sounds like shredding and plenty of consistent power. Just make sure you get her air tight or she'll pop when you decel.

I'd be interested in seeing how the Ti-Force system would have done in that shootout. I know that little x-pipe design they use works great on cars.

Yeah, but on the Ti-Force who wants to pay $1400 for an exhaust system? You aren't gonna go wrong with the Micron. What other pipe gives you @10 h.p. with just a bolt-on with Race ECM and high flow air filter. Yeah, that's right, me, over here.
