anyone using the ISR levers from trojan? got a picture of them on your bike? im interested in using the clutch lever with the integrated master cylinder. comments? | ||

I´ve got ISR levers on my XB 9. (factory only 10 miles from where I live) I use the regular clutch lever for wire and the radial brake lever. The quality and action of this levers is A+ ! Sorry , no pics at the moment , but just go ahead and buy them....  | ||

The above shot shows the master in brake use. If you see where the allen head is near the plunger / piston, there's another directly underneath. Take these two allens out and the lever assembly swivels so you can use it for hydraulic clutch. There is a choice of bore sizes I believe. Trojan? Rocket | ||

I have a set of ISR brake/clutch levers on my S2. Great stuff. They're a bit tricky to buy from as they don't take credit cards, paypal or any of that newfangled stuff. I ended up sending them cash. But otherwise very nice to deal with and very knowledgeable too. Henrik | ||

As I understand it, there are two different barrel nipple sizes available for the clutch cable. ISR will also make the hole to your size if need be. For those wanting to crash test them, levers are available separate. Trojan would seem the best bet for you guys outside the UK to purchase from. Me, I'm off to the Bike Show in a couple of weeks, so hope to pick up a cheap pair! Rocket | ||

I use the ISR brake. This makes quite a difference in how you can control the front of the bike under heavy braking. I use it in combination with the wave disc and EBC brake pads. I had no problems on a recent trip in the swiss alps whilst playing fetch with some of my mates. tiger | ||

Henrik's examples are different from the one I posted. Henrik's are handed pieces where as the one I showed can be used for either brake or clutch master cylinder simply by swivelling it around. In both types I think I'm right in saying the levers are designed to snap at the pivot in case of get-off, which is the narrowest pin visible on both types. I believe I'm also right in saying Henrik's examples are more expensive too. Rocket | ||

I recently tried the hand controls on a co-workers Ducati S4. I was very impressed at how solid they felt (no up/down wiggling at all that I could tell). Do these after market controls have that very solid feeling? Like they are part of the bike? Any experience with the CRG levers? Those ISR controls looking great. | ||

Anything special in installing the new levers? Never actually replaced brake/clutch levers before, but will be this fall. These ones are pretty nice, but then again so are the crg... I guess price difference will be the deciding factors. | ||

The controls I got were specifically for the 1' bars on my S2, so they're likely different - at least a bit - from what will fit the newer bikes and 7/8" bars. They have a very nice, tight fit and the levers themselves don't jog around or wobble. Look wise, I like the industrial look of the ISRs, but the CRG controls seem very nicely designed as well. And while the ISR levers are reach adjustable, the CRGs are much easier to dial in on the fly. The ISR brake levers also have a bit of adjustment for mechanical advantage. Nice for fine tuning the braking power depending on MC bore and caliper types. I doubt you'd be disappointed with either. Installation; nothing different from regular controls. Henrik | ||
