Does anybody know of any companies that make good quality small LED front turn signals for a XB12s? I have heard of shock racing and I like their styles, but has anybody had any experience with that brand? Do they mount easy and where did you order them from? | ||

I ordered mine from one of our sponsors, Trojan. They're a little pricey but I love the look. They're made by Rizoma. for some reason I can't post the link, but you can find it in the sponsor section I got the "Zero" turn signals. American Sport Bike also has a good selection of turn signals, not sure how many of them are LED. American Sport Bike also sells a LED turn signal flasher so you don't have to worry about fast turn signal flashes. Sam | ||

I have used several types of Shock Mini led directionals. I liked the Mini 6's. but they broke very easily where the rubber mount connects to the plastic shell. Then I changed over to the Mini Ones. They are made out of aluminum, and don't break as easily. They are smaller, less visible, but they still work fine. They are so small you don't notice them unless they are on. I prefer the clear lens. They are very similar to the Kellermans and cost about half as much. See if you can spot them on my bike.  In order to get the proper flash rate, you can either order a flasher from American Sport Bike or build your own out of 10 ohm , 10 watt wirewound resistors. Here is the way those work. They are wired across both the right and left directional circuits. I put mine under the seat, between the rear directionals and the wiring on the bike. I had to change the connector size.  You can get the resistors at Radio Shack, the directionals are widely available, and can be ordered directly from Shock, they cost around $30 a pair. | ||

I have a set of shock lights on mine, all four of them. The brightest LED signals for under $35 a pair I have ever seen. NO problems being seen during a bright sunny day. Pick a style that you like and run them. Get the flasher from American Sport Bike, you'll appreciate the ease of installation. | ||

Don't worry about changing the connector size, just use a leatherman and expand the male connector until it fits. I've got them too. They look and work great, but they are brittle. I have to walk my bike (slowly) through a doorway and have snapped one off. Then again, they may be designed that way on purpose so they snap instead of damaging the part they mount too. The fairing support bracket on a Firebolt is much more expensive than a new set of blinkers. | ||

I have sold them to a few of my customers and they love them. I also run them on my personal bike. They look great and work great. |
