I took my XB12Ss in for it's 1600km first check and after reading some of the experiences here I was a little paranoid.....

It was actually better than I ever could have expected...I dropped my bike off and got to use an 07 CityX for the day. It got even better though! (I changed my oil and transmission oil before I dropped it off...Syn3 and Formula+). The Service Manager asked if I could wait and pick my bike up at the end of the day instead of at lunch...I said no prob. I go in to pick it up and my total bill was $82(cdn), he said since I was flexible they gave me a deal :-)

Well that's my random actually happy with my Dealership story for the day

Pretty much the same with my local here in England. If you're not on the same wavelength as the Service Manager, you're screwed but at service time I let the shop do the weird stuff, complete the rest myself and still get the book stamped.

A loan bike is always available (Sporty, Fat Boy, Tour Glide , V-Rod, Road King, Lightning or Firebolt) and my bike is always ready on time & cleaned.

We've had a few hiccups over the years but hey they're only human.
