Hey guys. My belt or pulley is squeaking more now than it used to. Atleast I think so. I dont hear it when Im rding on even rolling back and forth, just when I am moving it around the garage.

After I rode in my first big rain, the bike was very dirty and I first noticed the squeak. I thought it was just the belt on the pulley, and when I washed it, the noise went away. But now it is back and has been back.

I was just wondering if anyone elses did this before I go and jack up the bike and loosen the belt. I might need to pulley bearings.

Atleast Im not alone. I will try that poly lube.

Two Buells huh, Im gonna have to try that too.

BTW, I found out that my dad can get the pulley bearing at the Toyota Plant where he works. He got the number and they are a standard bearing. He says they throw them out like crazy. I think Im gonna paint my pulley this winter and replace the bearings anyways. Thanks Guys!

the tensioner wheel requires a pair of 6203 bearings. very inexpensive in 100 lots. might have to pay 6 bucks for singles.

Mine only makes a little squeaky noise when I roll it backwards.
It's a little louder when I push it backwards while I'm off the bike so I figured it's just some friction.

Mine only makes a little squeaky noise when I roll it backwards.

Mine does too for the past three or four months, but unlike you guys, mine's an S1W.

Mine does it too. I was wondering if there was a bearing going bad on the front pulley.
