I tried this in the KV, but there isn't much action there.

Opinions?

I would love to get those, unfortunately I have done a search before (as well as a post here) and have found out two things. One, those tires aren't available in the 'states yet. Two, to get them you have to order them from Europe, meaning shipping out the a**.

Checkem out Sam.... not bad prices either. I just bought Pilot powers because the deals are real sweet right now but the CT's are on there also. I've seen them as cheap as 255 to your door buy it now option.

Yeah I noticed. I'll definitely keep an eye out for them once I wear out the stock Dunlops, seems to be taking forever (can't wait). Also my bike and I need a little healing first (see my AYGATT thread).

I have been running the 2CTs for about 1500 miles and they are awesome err, dude.

In dry road conditions it's questionable whether they are actually any better than my previous set of std Pilot Powers - they warm up very quickly and predictably, and the feedback inspires total confidence when cornering, you can really throw it in.

They are however ace in the rain and particularly brilliant on those mixed bag dry'n'damp roads where you can just forget about the damp patches and ride like it's dry.

The other advantage of the dual compound is that the tyres are retaining their profile as they wear - this is especially noticeable on the rear.

I wouldn't pay over the odds for a pair but if you really want some you won't be disappointed.

I'm about to order some Shenkos. Mainly due to cost. They are cheap and I'm sure I'll get what I pay for but I need something RIGHT NOW! and at the price I cant do any better. It's either them or not ride for at least another month until I can get something else.

If you are wanting cheap and good, check out the Maxxis ProMaxx. I have ready no negative reviews of those tires, and if you want to spend a little bit more the SuperMaxx is an excellent track day tire (if you bike won't go over 160 mph).

Please note, I have no personal experience with these tires, but they are what I am getting next time I buy (beginning of next season).
