Many times on this board I have read how important it is to have your bike suspension set correctly and to have tires properly inflated. When I first got my bike I did set it up per the factory manual. Friday night after work, I adjusted my suspension to the aggressive setting as found on this board. I also checked my tire pressure and found that both tires were about 5-10 pounds low. I've read about it at least 10 times and just never remembered(or was too lazy when I did think of it) until Friday. What a difference! My bike handles awsome! It was a great start to my weekend riding. I haven't had so much fun on the bike in awhile. In addition, I hit one of my favorite roads at a really great time. The road is in the northern ADK's and has many 15 to 35 mph curves but there is usually alot of traffic(hikers, campers, tourists in general). I must have hit it just right because i didn't have to follow a single car for about the best 10 miles. Oh, the road is Rt. 30 between Tupper Lake and Lake Clear, NY.

Well, that all I have. I just wanted to share a little of my good weekend rather than always asking questions around here.

Gregg

P.S. Doon, have you ridden that road?

Congrats Gregg,
You've discovered the best way to tune your bike - forget the fancy pipes, ecms, airfilters etc - set it up well then ride it well.

I know the feeling bro!! When I fist set mine up, I was going up and down my street about 20-25mph dodging potholes No-Handed!!! I think I need to soften up my rear a bit though. I could feel the back tire starting to skip a bit as I throtle it out of the corners.
