HAve there been significant changes since the 2003 intro? Tranny? others? I'm cruising the used market pretty hard after demo rides at the Honda Hoot.

Refinements mostly. The 03's had belt and wheel bearing issues. 03's were 984cc only. In 05 they did a change to the forks. The transmission got smoother and smoother. I don't know too much, but this could be a starting point. Other guys here should be able to give more detailed info.

On the used market, Buells are the best buys that you are likely to find. I've seen ratted out 600s and liter bikes selling for almost what a new one costs. That is rediculous. There are so many of them out there, they should be almost giveing them away.

Dive belt, wheel bearings, transmission gears, 1203 motor introduced, uhhhhhhhhhh........ Thats all I can think of right now.

tires. airbox mods in 07 ( more holes in inner box) , different colors for different years, front shock size (bigger diameter) , went to dog ring style transmission (shifts easier, clutch easier to pull, quieter fuel pump, dedicated air scoop to engine cooling only resulting in less fan operation, lifetime drive belt, slightly larger fuel capacity, slightly lighter rear swing arm/oil tank. I think there is more nit picky stuff but im pulling a blank.
