I hear the same thing...Have not found one......Well I haven't really looked to hard either due to feeling a bit silly with a sissy bar on my xb.

I think the Ventura rack system has one. Taint cheap but their racks have snap-on luggage and accessories that really work well.

Hit AL at American Sport Bike about it, I think he sells Ventura stuff.

Nice thing is their stuff is modular so you can get the basic mounts, add the back rest and later can get bags.

You might PM Sparky here on Badweb, I think he's using Ventura on his XB.

You might check around the Ventura site.

Some pics, descriptions, etc.

The Ventura pack/rack system is awesome; I have one for my S3. Be aware though, the tall rack has a decal that says "WARNING: NOT A BACK REST"; you're not supposed to lean up against it.

That said, my wife finds that just having something back there makes her feel a lot more secure. I'm sure it would prevent a passenger from sliding off, but I wouldn't want to rely on it to keep my GF/wife on the bike during an extended wheelie or anything.

Corbin used to (still does?) make a seat with a backrest insert. I know they have them for the S3 models.

From the wife's perspective, she's right on the money. While I know that the Ventura rack is not a backrest on the M2, it's nice just knowing that it's there and I'm not going off the back of the bike. The Ventura system only has to have the large rack when the large bag is on, otherwise you have the framework with a cross bar to give it a finished look. They also have a 10 liter bag which is great for day trips.

If you're interested in the Ventura system, take Rubberdown up on his offer, it's a heck of a deal!

Thanks Kristi Thats kind of what I thought not a true back rest just some thing so she knows she wont slide off. We rode about 100 miles today down around high rock lake and in uwarriui some and back home. Sorry for bad spelling dont know how to spell it. She is now talking about wanting to learn how to ride her own. may have to look for a cheap dirt bike for her to learn on. Than maybe a blast after she learns. I will sign her up for a class before she ever gets on road. She got her owen helment yesterday and has a joe rocket phoenix 4.0 jacket on order!!Got to love a woman who loves to ride!!!

Glenn-everything that Mike has will work, WITH EXCEPTION to the mounting rails, known as 'L_Brackets' . Those are the two rails that actually attach to your bike. Because the 'S' and 'R' tails are different in length and width, one will not work on the other. Check here and you will see what I mean by the L brackets. If I am not mistaken, Mike has everything else listed on this page also!

http://www.ventura-bike.com/english/products/pack_system/index.html
then scroll down to L brackets
