So I'm on my way to creating my concept Imperial streetfighter. Not much "modding" but here's what was involved:
Helibars for a more upright riding position
R to S tail swap
Stickers
grommetts on the S seat
being lucky enough to get a white xb9r

What still needs to be done:
The seat that is mounted now had a rip in it so I played around with it a bit. Tested gluing patches on it (used way to much gorilla glue) and using marine grade vinyl for the cowl. Hoping to get a streetfighter seat and redo the cowl cover and patches (with far less glue)
Mounting a hasbro "clone trooper" blaster and wiring them into the "push to pass" button so I can actually "blast" cagers that piss me off.

What's on the way:
custom stormtrooper leathers

Too cool!
Definitely from outer space!

I might think about painting the pucks white, (Krylon Fusion sticks pretty well to them), and going with the American Sport bike fiberglass seat cowl, and chopping the tea strainer and painting the tail light holder white too.

Can't wait to see the space suit.

well I was trying to do the make over on the cheap.

Valid points with the cowl and painting the pucks... but I kind of dig the bolt on star wars look that's come about naturally. A hard cowl would be nice, but can't beat the $2.00 white vinyl jobbie.
oh missed posting this one

also please note the "kill" stickers (circled in orange)

Hey Brian....... yea get that cover done. It's a PITA to remove but the outcome is great. Do the Primary cover as well.

It was too bad that it rained the weekend us NEBO boys came down. I wanted to check your bike out in person. Is your front end painted or powder coated? I ended up powder coating everything.

sorry for hijacking the tread

All thread hijackers welcome! Just post a damn picture!

I love to look at mod'ed firebolts! I love black firebolts. Since I had a white one... I went the easy route.

And sorry for asking, but couldn't you just get a 9 primary cover?

707 I got them from Duane on this board. He's out of LA and needed some $$ after the hurricane. This was WAY early in my concept, so I guess I have him to blame!

I'll see if I can dig some contact info up. He was WAY fast. I think he sent them out, even before he got my check

My white concept firebolt is the street racer.

Built entirely by Hal's halspa.com
except for my triptronic shifter translogicuk.com, the solid mount pegs I turned on my lathe, the city-x "X"
on the airbox cover, the norris performance sprocket cover and catch can
norrishp.com, the open airbox kit I made, and the Corbin seat americansportbike.com.

diablobrian's toy reverse

It got Erik's stamp of approval

Diablobrian and Erik Buell homecoming 06

and even a shot in Fuell magazine of my son and I loaded up at homecoming.

Plus it put down pretty healthy numbers too...
if that kind of thing is important to you..: )

Dyno run

Is that enough pics for a thread hijack? ;)
