Just prying it doesn't work, no matter how carefully.

Going to mount some LED's in the mirror for turn signals.

Yeah I was thinking of trying something similar recently, but in the front of the mirror, but ran into the same problem.

Seriously, it just pops out, try deforming (bending)the corner out to get at an edge, then stick a popsicle stick in it, so it wont break, and work it out.

I wd. think perhaps IF ya took a heat gun or perhaps a hair dryer although that might not be hot enough and preheat the glass areas to soften the glue in behind MIGHT help.. don`t know of any other way.

Take them to an auomotive glass business, bet they can remove and install.

Thanks for the suggestions, but none of these work, I tried them all previous to this post (including the glass shop).

Any more ideas? I know someone has done this before.

has anyone ever checked to see if any other sportbike mirrors fit into the XB holes? Just a thought
