Hey guys. I dont know when this was posted, but the Buell site has some new clothes that I like, especailly the new Jacket and Polo. I was just wondering if anyone had either of these items, and how do you like them? http://buell.com/en_us/gear/apparel/index.asp?Menu_ID=1&CategoryID=1 It is all from Vanson, and I am just wondering about availibility. When the New Era Buell hat came out, I really wanted it, so after a little while, I went to my Dealership and talked to a very knowledgible Buell guy. I orderd the hat and after a while he checked on it. He said he talked to Vanson because he had some shirts with the order, and that Vanson kept saying that it was going to be a long time before the hat was even made. I ordered it in January, and come May, still nothing. So I ended up and a dealer in Louisville, and they had the hat just sitting there 15% off because it has been there a little while. Anyone work at a dealer and no if these new items are available now? Thanks |

Yeah....I posted it a week ago, but little response. I think that a lot of people are upset with the lack, and inability to get, Buell clothes. I emailed Daves about the new clothes. He said that they are made by Vanson and therefore difficult to get. He has them on order, but doesn't expect them anytime soon. And that's another reason not to get excited about new Buell apparel. |

It's sad that Buell apparel is available in such limited quantities at most HD/Buell dealerships. I always find it "hit or miss" when traveling to find a dealership with a nice assortment of Buell gear. Even those that consider themselves active in carrying a large variety of apparel are kidding themselves. I would settle for being able to get a dealer specific Buell t-shirt at the shops that sell Buells. Not many exist. It's really ashame. |

Too bad you aren't closer to Appleton Paul. I have a whole wall of Buell clothes! Yep, anything from Vanson is going to take a long time to get. I think I am still waiting on hats I ordered a year ago. I did get some more of the pink hats and the Pegasus hats. They come from a different company. |

I think I am still waiting on hats I ordered a year ago. In that case I sure am glad I got my Buell jacket in the "stock" colors. I almost had one special ordered with different colors. Are they that popular that they can offer things and not deliver for a year? |

No, Vanson is just that slow They make great products, I own 2 jackets and one pair of their pants and love them. I waited 6 months for Kandie's jacket to get here. |

>>>It's sad that Buell apparel is available in such limited quantities at most HD/Buell dealerships. I keep re-reading the article I wrote for Battle 2Win in 1997 and sometimes wonder why Buell dealers (it's not entirely their fault) are still sitting at the same red light 9 years later. The Buell apparel and accessories are available to ALL dealers. Many, who have nearly nothing in stock, still seem confused as to why they sell so little. Sales is an "art form" and a true skill. Dave S had to REORDER PINK HATS how many times? He couldn't get them fast enough while others were busy giving us the "they'll never sell" line. |

I got two awesome Buell T's at Tilley in Statesville, and then a really neat, but kinda' odd, "riding" button up shirt at Carolina HD down in Gastonia. Tilley also has some cool baseball caps, and some awesome helmets. Obviously the stuff is made, just need more people to carry it! And none of the things I've seen in the store are like what is advertised on the Buell site? Weird. |

Daves, I've heard rumors of some dealership purchasers of apparel blowing off regulations and screen printing unauthorized slogans on T-shirts for homecoming. Have you heard these same rumors? |

Were I to want to NARC on said producer, would there be any items available for display at the trial as evidence? The jury really likes XL if they run large and XXL if they run small. Makes it easier to see. |
