found my new winter blues avoidance activity for track: go karting!

done it so many times, but after a summer of track riding as opposed to street riding, we went outdoor go karting tonight .. great fun & just enough to work on the LINE ...

i passed everyone .. no matter where i started from .. track days PAY off!

so indoor karting it is .. that way i can keep working the LINE & seeing of my fitness makes any difference.

sure beats beating off to internet p**n

We had a dusting of new snow on the mountain peaks yesterday.

Bake, Whistler is a great ski area. That whole area is pretty neat.

Okaaay... humor me... what is this mysterious "LINE" everyone else must already understand?

And I challenge your decision on Internet pr0n.

Line...

The line is the best way into, through and out of a turn.

There are five of them for any given turn. (unless there's another turn directly after, in which case there's also the sacrifice line...)

There's a LOT more to it than that.

If you'd like to know more read "High Performance Race Driving Techniques". That'll get you started. There are other books out there.

With a first question like that... Your next one ought to be "What's race craft?" ;).

NY has a indoor go cart track....cars are like sprint cars...very fast...They run the program just like a actual race with practice and qualifying

a friend used to have a cart when I was younger, full race slicks, no body kit would hit 90 and then I would chicken out...250 two stroke with the five speed-maybe four, as I never made it out of third, gearbox. That thing was the most fun I have ever had on four wheels by myself...
