I recently picked up an entire upper end 05 xb12 from a wrecked frame buell. Heads Rocker Boxes Rocker Covers Push Rods Push Rod Tubes Cylinders Pistons Throttle Body assembly for 350$. I have an 03 XB9R. Anyone know or undertaken the procedure for a head transplant? Is there a shop in Calif that will do this for a reasonable cost? I have a full cnc machine shop so case boring isnt a problem. |

It's the stroke of the engines that makes them different. The bores are the same. Of course you could bore out the jugs more to get the same displacement..... |
