Announcement!!!! I finally purchased my first Buell (Liberty Harley / Rahway) after being a member of this board for quite some time now. On recommendation by some guys here, I decided to purchase it from a dealer that is about 60 miles away from my house. I have Harley dealers nearer, but I wanted to purchase the bike from a dealer that wouldn't treat me like "s**t" 10 seconds after paying off the bike, and so I willingly waited all these long, very long months, for the right opportunity to come along. Well, that opportunity came this week with the arrival of a '07 Sunfire Yellow 12R ! I wanted the Black/Cherry Red 12R, but I couldn't resist the yellow, so I bought it!!! I'll also be more visible on the road, which I think is more important.  I can't wait to meet more of you guys now that I too have a Buell!!!! yah man they are awsome i just bought an 05 sufire yellow xb9r and road it for the second time today...i put 50 miles on it..i love it. glad i am not the only one pimpin the yellow..to be honest i didnt like it online and i had never seen one in person but when i saw it at the dealer i loved the yellow...and i am not a yellow guy...guess i am now. Thanks guys - Last night I was so pumped up with the thought of riding the bike that I stayed up until after 3am turning in bed. Insomnia tends to plague you when you least want it!  This morning to go to work was hard, specially having to wake up at 530am! Well, I did oversleep a little... actually a few hours.  Elf, is that true? Should I be worried? Will it be permanent?  As for being the first, no. Check out Blackxb9's profile. He bought the Cherry Red bolt. Looks great! Yellowbolter, I also wasn't too keen on the yellow when I saw a picture of it, but when I went to the dealer, it really impressed me. Black frame, black wheels = cool combination! Another factor that influenced me was the visibility factor. I have black gear, so the yellow will definitely be more visible to absent minded drivers. And yes, we now are 2 guys "pimpin" the yellow color!  | ||

Congrats you lucky bastid!  I too wasn't impressed with the yellow bolt looking at pics of it. I thought the Cherry Bomb Bolt was the coolest thing ever. Then at Seca this year I got to see them both in person sitting next to each other & all I can say is the Yellow 12R is in my eyes way cooler than the Cherry Bomb. I can't explain it. I never liked yellow but the that 12R just did something to me. I suddenly like yellow now. Anyway.. Welcome to BadWeb and enjoy that Buell. | ||
