That is the best looking scoop I've seen, congratulations on your work.

How did you make that, its beautiful. How much to make another one? I'd buy one from you, especially since it looks so OEM. I love it.

Robertoxb9. I'd buy one also.Of course price would have to be known first. A side note: Since i started to use AMSOIL 20-50 my fan doesn't come on nearly as much as before.

With synthetic and some miles on my XB9S the fan doesn't seem to run much, unless I'm stuck in traffic.

6600 miles on 2 different Ulys
2400 or so on the first one. In Aug/Spet of last year. Hot weather. No problems. Sold it to a customer. No problems except he had a ecm go flaky(race ecm) just a week or so ago.

4200 miles on one this year. Cold,hot,highway riding. Some stretches at 100MPH for about 75 miles(don't call the cops on me)
No problems, no pinging.
I run anywhere from 91-93 gas, whatever the premium is at that gas station.

Mine only pings when I turn the throttle. As far as running hot goes, the burn scar on my right thigh from the frame is almost getting thick enough now that I don't even mind the pain. I use premium fuel only, and tried various brands, still pings even with 104 octane booster. I do really like my Uly "American Motorcycle" but I do hope it's Italian made fan holds up. On a side note...Many thanks to "Daves" for taking care of me here in Louisiana. He is an outstanding fellow, and though even he is on the other side of the country from me, he will get all my Buell and HD business from now on....Thanks!}

Thanks guys for your compliments!

It took me 1,5 years to develop (after working hours) and as I am a designer/engineer I had my contacts to outsource production. It's made out of two pieces (two moulds) just like the original one. The material is 2K plastic which is reinforced and has a higher heat resistance than ABS or PP. Afterwards it's painted with a color and texture to match the original.
