i have a buddy who might want one. he is not sure because he has not sat on one. i have a corbin and he loves that. honestly (not just because you want to sell them) how does the select compare to the corbin?

I like them better.
I like the gel instead of the rock hard Corbin.
That said, I have never been a big fan of Corbin seats myself.
Too heavy, too hard.
I sell Corbin too so I can help him either way he chooses.

My wife says the Select seat is more comfortable than the Stock City X seat. Mostly because she doesn't slide (as much) into the back of me when slowing down.

DTX,
HAVE YOU EVER TRIED A CORBIN? IF SO, HOW DOES IT COMPARE?

Yes, I have ridden my buddies bike that has the Corbin on it. Both are good seats in different ways. The select seat is softer, but the Corbin offers more support since it is wider. Its kinda "six one, 1/2 dozen the other"...(toss up)

Recently, I ordered and purchased a new select seat (not from DAVES). I inspected it upon arrival and noticed a "bubble" in the seat. I did some research on this site and found it to be a common problem. I was able to get it replaced at a local HD shop. DAVES has a pretty good rep on here so I'm sure he will take care of you if you should run into similar problems.

yep I have had some with the bubble effect go out and have replaced them all.
Now I look at them before they go out.
These are both good.

No can do, on the same price on the black select seats. They are 179.95
I have them in stock as well though.

I have these two red seats because the parts dept mistook my 6 as a 0 at the end of the part number.
